Privacy policyEmble Commercial AI Assessment
Privacy policy
This policy explains how Emble Co Pty Ltd handles information provided through the Commercial AI Assessment. It should be read together with any broader privacy information published by Emble.
Effective 26 August 2026
Information we collect
When you complete the assessment, we collect your name, work email, company, consent choice, assessment answers, Chat with Emble AI conversation where used, result profile, scores and completion details. We may also record referral or campaign information included in the assessment link.
We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information. Please do not include confidential, sensitive or personally identifying information in free-text assessment answers.
Why we collect it
We use this information to calculate and present your Commercial AI Assessment result, generate your personalised report, maintain an assessment record and, where you have consented, contact you about relevant Emble services.
Providing contact information is optional until you choose to unlock the full report. If you do not provide it, you can still view your headline score and profile, but we cannot provide the full report experience.
How the assessment works
Your maturity score, profile and dimension results are calculated using Emble’s configured assessment logic. If AI-assisted response classification is enabled, the question and the free-text answer you submit may be processed to match it to the closest assessment option. AI does not independently determine or change the scoring model.
If you choose to use Chat with Emble AI after receiving your headline result, your question and relevant assessment context are processed to provide an answer grounded in approved Emble material. Chat questions do not affect your maturity score. If you then consent and request the full report, the conversation is stored with your assessment record so the Emble team can understand the business problem you raised. If you leave without submitting the lead form, the conversation is not stored by Emble in its assessment database.
The downloadable PDF is generated in your browser from the same assessment result. Emble does not upload a separate copy of the downloaded PDF through this website.
Storage and service providers
Assessment and lead information is stored in Emble’s Supabase database hosted in Australia. The website and its server-side functions are hosted by Vercel. Where enabled, OpenAI may process limited assessment content used for response classification or report wording. These providers may process technical or service data in other jurisdictions under their own infrastructure and contractual arrangements.
When an assessment is submitted, Resend sends an internal lead notification to authorised Emble team members. Emble may also send the assessment record to its configured Mailchimp workflow for relevant follow-up. The downloadable PDF itself is generated in your browser and is not attached to these internal notifications.
Use, disclosure and retention
Emble uses assessment information for the purposes described above and may disclose it to service providers that support hosting, secure storage and assessment processing. We do not sell assessment information.
We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the assessment, relevant follow-up, business records and applicable legal obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access or disclosure.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask to access or correct personal information Emble holds about you, withdraw your follow-up consent, or raise a privacy concern by emailing contact@emble.au. Please provide enough detail for Emble to identify the relevant assessment record and understand your request.
Emble will review privacy requests and complaints and respond within a reasonable period. If you remain dissatisfied, information about privacy rights and complaints is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
